Air Bishkek

Full Service Carrier
Ceased Operations on 29-Feb-2016

Air Bishkek was a scheduled carrier based Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek Airport. The carrier was founded in 2004 as Kyrgyz Airways prior to changing its name to Air Bishkek in 2011. The carrier operated services throughout Central and North Asia with western narrow body equipment. It ceased service operations in Feb-2016 due to financial difficulties. The carrier stated it plans to resume operations this year however, Kyrgyzstan’s Civil Aviation Agency reportedly temporarily suspended Air Bishkek's air operators certificate, citing the carrier must prove the airworthiness of its aircraft.
