Air Arabia Jordan
Air Arabia Jordan was an airline based at Amman Queen Alia International Airport. The carrier was a JV between Air Arabia (49%) and the RUM Group (51%) borne out of former charter and scheduled services carrier, Petra Airlines. Air Arabia Jordan initially operated LCC services to destinations in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Egypt. The carrier had flagged plans to service destinations in Europe in the future. It suspended regular scheduled operations in Nov-2017 amid plans to review its schedule, subject to traffic right approval. Air Arabia Jordan resumed with charter operations using a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. Air Arabia Jordan ceased operations in Mar-2018, citing issues with traffic rights.
