About
Air Antilles (formerly Air Antilles Express) is a regional airline based at Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe in the French Antilles. The airline commenced services in Dec-2002 and shares IATA and ICAO codes with Air Guyane Express's Caribbean operations. Both airlines are part of the "Compagnie Aérienne Inter Régionale Express" (CAIRE) group. Air Antilles is a founding member of the Caribsky Alliance.
Air Antilles was placed into compulsory liquidation in Aug-2023. Guadeloupe's Mixed Commercial Court of Pointe-à-Pitre accepted a partial takeover of Air Antilles and Air Guyane Express owner Compagnie Aérienne Interrégionale Express (CAIRE) by Edeis subsidiary Cipim. Air Antilles will continue to operate, while Air Guyane Express will be liquidated. Air Antilles planned to resume operations by the end of Mar-2024. No updates have been provided.
