Afriqiyah Airways was one of two state-owned national airlines of Libya based at Tripoli. The carrier operated services to destinations in North and Central Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. It suspended operations effective 15-Jan-2018, after its fleet of five aircraft were damaged at Mitiga and Misurata airports.
