Aerounion is a scheduled cargo carrier based in Mexico City. It was founded in 1999 and initially operated only domestic routes. In 2001, it launched services to the US after receiving approval from the US Department of Transportation. It is one of the few international carriers with traffic rights from Mexico City Juarez International Airport. Avianca Holdings has majority stake in the carrier.
