United Continental Holdings Incorporated is an American airline holding company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The company was established following the merger of United Airlines and Continental Airlines.

United Airlines is one of the largest airlines in the world, operating an extensive network of domestic and international air services from its main domestic hubs at Chicago O’Hare, Denver, Houston George Bush, Los Angeles, Newark Liberty, San Francisco, Washington Dulles and Guam. The carrier also operates international services worldwide, via its international hub at Tokyo Narita International Airport.

United Airlines is a founding member of the Star Alliance. Parent, United Continental Holdings, Inc. is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: UAL) and commenced trading on 01-Oct-2010, following the merger.
