About
The Departamento de Controle do Espaço Aéreo (DECEA) is the government organisation responsible for air traffic oversight within Brazil's 8.5 million sq kms of airspace. The department is under the Ministry of Defense and to the Brazilian Air Force. DECEA represents Brazil in international forums, executing operational and technical agreements that regulate airspace activity between the nation and its sovereign partners.
