Who’s going to win the FIFA World Cup? The aviation view is…Slovakia!
Spain, Brazil and Argentina may be the favourites to take out the 2010 FIFA World Cup, but based on exclusive analysis and prediction by CAPA, Slovakia will raise the trophy. The CAPA "Aviation Industry Boxing Above Weight" Ranking is based on a weighting of the relative performance of the finalists' national aviation industries relative to their peers (using a complex assessment of GDP per capita, propensity to travel by air and the size of the respective national aviation industries). According to the analysis, Slovakia will be this year's champions in a grand final playoff with North Korea. Cameroon will beat Paraguay in the playoff for third.
Heavyweights Spain, Brazil and Argentina will finish 24th, 17th and 8th, respectively.
