Wataniya to launch Beirut-Vienna service; Comair shares down 6.8%

Wataniya Airways, subsidiary of Kuwait National Airways (+1.2%), announced the launch of Beirut-Vienna service from 31-Oct-2010.

South Africa's FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Index fell 173.97, or 0.6%, to 30,003.08 at the close of trade in Johannesburg on Tuesday (19-Oct-2010). Meanwhile, Comair shares dropped down 6.8% while 1time and Lonrho remained unchanged.

Middle East shares were relatively stable with Royal Jordanian (-0.6%) and Air Arabia (-0.2%) down slightly while Jazeera remained stable.
