Peach Aviation CEO Update

Peach Aviation was the first of a new wave of LCCs to enter the Japanese market in 2012. Peach offers domestic and international flights primarily from its Osaka Kansai hub. Peach flies as far south as Hong Kong and Taipei and is considering a base in Okinawa to be able to fly non-stop to Southeast Asia, a market it does not yet serve. Peach will have a fleet of all-A320s in FY2017 and is considering future growth plans.

Shinichi Inoue:So actually, we are now planning to fly to Southeast Asia from Ok ina wa, but it is not the right timing to announce when and where we are flying to. Yes. We will have 20 aircraft in the fiscal year 2017. It is true that we are now planning how many flights, how many frequencies we are able to increase, but not yet decided, not yet final ized our plan. It is a crucial issue for Peach Avi ation, so we have been waiting for the approval by Chinese government for more than 3 years. So we do hope we can get approval as soon as possible. We do hope the R ok os ou Term inal can provide us with desirable conditions, terms and conditions to develop our L CC business. That is our desire and hope. Yeah, I very appreciate the R ok os ou Term inal in Nar ita Airport. But unfortunately, we have not enough scale of business to use such kind of facilities.
