Jetstar Japan CEO Update

Masaru Kataoka:Jetstar has started Japan domestic operations in July 2012, and we have been focusing on domestic expansion of our domestic network. And in February 2015, We have started international operations going to Hong Kong, and then we expand the international network to Taipei and Manila. And international operations will help increasing our utilisation of aircraft as well as to support bringing the inbound customers to Japan. That is the rapidly growing market. We as a group of Jetstar, we have the branch offices as well as brand branding expansions in this market. So we, we have been using our group channels to promote Jetstar Japan product as well as Jetstar Group product as a whole. Through our group network. Our group, Jetstar Australia, has 11 Boeing 787 Dreamliners that has been utilised for long and medium-haul operations. But Jetstar Japan, we are concentrating on A320 aircraft for short-haul and middle-haul routes. So At the moment, we have no plan to introduce big size of aircraft. We currently have 2 bases, that is Narita and Kansai, but as operations and aircraft size grow, we probably need to look for another base either in Japan or overseas. So we haven't decided yet. But we definitely need some more bases.
