Royal Jordanian Airlines first to operate Bombardier Q400 in Middle East
TORONTO (Bombardier) - Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Royal Jordanian Airlines will become the first Middle East operator of the Q400 turboprop.
The introduction of the first of two previously owned, 74-passenger, 360-knot (667 km/h) Q400 aircraft by the end of this month will mark the inauguration of a new Royal Jordanian Airlines brand, Royal Jordanian xpress, and will upgrade the regional service that has been provided by Royal Wings since 1996. Royal Wings began the service when it acquired its first 50-passenger Dash 8-300 turboprop in 1996. A second Dash 8-300 aircraft was added in 1998.

Royal Jordanian Airlines' mainline fleet currently consists of Airbus A310, A320, A321 and A340 aircraft.
