World's Biggest Airlines Rankings: Jun-2011. Turkish Airlines the fastest growing of the Top 25
The world's airlines are growing their capacity levels (ASKs) by some 6.8% in Jun-2011, which follows a similar increase in May, according to Innovata. But two of the three leading airlines (Delta and United) are contracting this month, while American is growing slowly. Emirates is growing capacity at close to 10% year-on-year and could reclaim fourth spot from United in coming months.

China Southern has dropped two places from Jun-2010, due to a slow pace of expansion this month. The Guangzhou-based carrier has been eclipsed by Cathay Pacific. Turkish Airlines is again the fastest growing carrier in the Top 25, expanding its ASKs by close to 28%.
