Virgin America reports 2010 full year, 4Q losses
Coming months after its US airline peers, Virgin America reported a USD12 million operating loss on revenues of USD724 million for full-year 2010, narrowing its loss gap versus 2009 by 68%. Net loss for the year reached USD68.6 million, a 15% decline from 2009. This, despite the fact revenues rose 32%.
