US LCCs increase employee levels in Jun-2010, but overall airline employment levels weaker

US Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported that US LCC full-time equivalent employee (FTE) levels in Jun-2010 increased 0.9% year-on-year, marking the seventh consecutive month of year-on-year FTE increases and the second consecutive June of FTE gains.
