THAI Launches “THAI Value Card”: For Affordable Travel Across Thailand

Mr. Vasing Kittikul, Executive Vice President for Commercial, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, and Mr. Wallop Bhukkanasut, THAI’s Vice President for Sales and Distribution, launched the company’s “THAI Value Card,” a prepaid travel card that offers cost savings to passengers flying THAI domestically.

The company’s “THAI Value Card” is tailored for passengers who travel frequently by air on domestic routes or travel in groups.

Mr. Wallop Bhukkanasut, THAI’s Vice President for Sales and Distribution, said that the “THAI Value Card” is THAI’s new air travel concept and is a prepaid card that offers special promotional fares and convenience to passengers.  With just one card, passengers are able to travel throughout Thailand on THAI domestic flights, with the exception of Mae Hong Son.

The “THAI Value Card” offers passengers added choice as well as more cost savings and more value than ever before.  “THAI Value Card” is suitable for those who travel domestically often, such as businesspeople, those who return home to the provinces on weekends, families, and friends traveling in groups.  There are 4 Thai card designs to select from, with a total of 50,000 cards available to the public.  The “THAI Value Card” will be available in packs of 4 cards, packs of 8 cards with a bonus of 1 card, and packs of 12 cards with a bonus of 2 cards, which will be sold for the first time during 2-5 March 2006 at the event “Tiew Thai Tua Tid” held at Queen Sirikit Convention Center or THAI’s Sales Offices and travel agents nationwide.  Travel may be conducted using THAI’s “Travel Card” until 31 December 2006.

“THAI Value Card” makes convenient travel possible with only one card used throughout Thailand and is another choice for convenient and affordable travel with THAI.  For more information, call Tel. 02-628-2000 or 02-356-1111.
