Qantas lures premium business, as a downturn looms?

Qantas has unveiled a new Premium Economy class, as part of

a major new product launch, including a refreshed logo and livery. The Premium

Economy cabin will be located on the main deck of B747-400 aircraft (progressively

from Feb-08), with 32 seats in a two-four-two configuration and on A380s (from

Aug-08) on the upper deck, with 32 seats in a two-three-two configuration.
