Hong Kong airshow brings strong orders for Airbus and Boeing

ILFC announced an order for 100 A320neo - but cancelled an order for 10 A380s - and also added an order for 33 B737-800s. Airbus has also announced an order for 16 A330s from Turkish Airlines and eight A330-300s and eight options from IAG, to reinforce Iberia Airlines' long-haul fleet.
Meanwhile, Commercial Aircraft Corp China (COMAC) has announced it expects 50 to 100 orders in 2011 for the C919. COMAC signed orders for 55 C919s in 2010, as well as 45 options.
EADS shares gained yesterday, while Boeing shares were up 1.6%.
