FRNAKFURT (Lufthansa) - The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG approved at its meeting today the placement of orders for twelve short-haul CRJ-900 aircraft with 84 seats. In buying the competitive, cost-efficient and modern plane, Lufthansa is leading the industry-wide trend towards the deployment of larger aircraft in regional air traffic.
