Malaysia Airports shares surged 7.1% - significantly outstripping the 2.5% rise on the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index yesterday. The stock has risen approximately 30% since early Feb-2009, as concerns over a competing LCC airport near Kuala Lumpur International Airport have eased after the government ruled out the AirAsia-led proposal.
