Jordan secures capacity Amman expansion
The Jordanian Government has advanced another step in its plan
to transform Amman Queen Alia International Airport into a regional hub. Last
month, it awarded a JV between Aeroports de Paris, Nour, Abu Dhabi Investment
Company, Edgo and JB Construction a 25-year BOT contract to construct a new
USD425 million, 90,000 sqm terminal at the airport. Construction of the facility
will commence before the end of 2007 and is scheduled for completion in 2010.
