Infratil reports successful year in 2007/08, as Wellington soars

Infratil, the New Zealand based investor in utilities and transport, had what it called “a successful year” ending 31-Mar-08, as measured by the value created in its core businesses, the positioning of those businesses relative to the trends which have been propelling their growth, and the management of increased risks arising from the financial markets. However, Infratil fell short in terms of delivering returns for shareholders over the period.
