Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to launch IPO in 2008

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HXIA), located in Zhejiang Province near Shanghai, is set to raise funds for expansion via an IPO. The airport, which is 65% owned by Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Co Ltd, and 35% by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), announced plans to raise approximately USD800 million from an IPO by the end of 3Q08 to fund expansion.
