AirTran Airways introduces seat-back advertising

AirTran Airways has announced plans to introduce seat-back advertising across its fleet of 138 Boeing aircraft. Advertisements, sized at 2.5 inches by 9 inches, will be placed on the bottom of seat-back tray tables within weeks. AirTran VP Marketing and Sales, Tad Hutcheson, justified the move, stating “you see it for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the length of your flight. It gets a lot of impressions”.
