Airports of Thailand’s profits surprise in third quarter, but outlook challenging

Premium Analysis

Thailand's international airport operator, Airports of Thailand (AoT), reported a better than expected USD107 million net profit for the three months ended 30-Jun-08 (its fiscal third quarter), due to an extraordinary gain and a healthy 6.4% increase in passenger traffic. Margins this financial year have been strong, but the outlook is not as promising.
