An airline spokesman said: "As cultural and economic ties between the Ukraine and UAE continue to strengthen, we have seen an appeal for low cost travel options between the two countries. By flying daily between Sharjah and Kiev, Air Arabia is giving business and leisure customers even more flexibility in how they choose to travel."

Air Arabia commenced services to the Ukraine capital in Oct-2008. Its shares rose 1% yesterday.
