Qantas, Kingfisher rise on May Day - Share Wrap

Qantas advanced 3.5% and Kingfisher rose 5.1% on May Day. Most other Asian share markets were closed.
Virgin Blue's shares were steady as it announced a 3.7% increase in passenger numbers in Mar-2009 (including a 1.4% reduction in domestic traffic offset by a 55.8% increase in international) and a 78.1% average load factor. 207,415, +55.8%.
