NAV CANADA reports first quarter financial performance

Premium Analysis

NAV CANADA has announced its financial highlights for the three months ended 30-Nov-08, the first quarter of the air navigation service provider's (ANSP) financial year. It recorded revenue (before rate stabilisation) of CAD296 million in quarter, compared to CAD300 million for the previous comparable period. The lower revenues were primarily due to a 2.2% year-on-year decrease in traffic volumes (as measured by weighted charging units).
