Kingfisher launches international operations
Kingfisher Airlines launched international operations on 03-Sep-08, commencing daily Bangalore-London Heathrow service, using A330-200 equipment. In a major breakthrough for the carrier, Chairman and CEO, Dr Vijay Mallya, stated, "I am delighted to announce the launch of Kingfisher Airline's maiden international service between Bangalore and London's Heathrow Airport. I believe that the Bangalore-London route is under-served and the launch of Kingfisher's daily non-stop service will exploit the latent potential that exists".
