Hellenic Duty Free reverses gains

Analysis

Shares in Hellenic Duty Free dropped back 4.5% on Monday. The company's shares had surged 9.1% on Friday, as 60.6 million shares in the group formed by the airport and port retailer's merger with Folli-Follie and Elmec Sports commenced trading.

Also dropping were Durfy (-2.5%) and JCDecaux (-2.2%).

Shares in Lotte Shopping Co gained 1.2%. The Korean retail operator was reportedly interested in the acquisition of PT Matahari Putra Prima's hypermarket business, which the Indonesian company abandoned over the weekend. Lotte has expressed interest in Matahari proposed 20% share sale.
