Hellenic Duty Free profit drops 30%

Hellenic Duty Free has reported sales revenue of EUR219.2 million in 1Q2011, down 4.4%, as Greek passenger traffic declined and department store revenues decreased. Some 52% of the company's revenues are generated outside Greece.

EBIT fell 30%, to EUR26.5 million, while EBITDA was down 20% to EUR43.5 million. EBITDA margin was 19.9%, down from 23.7% in the same period in 2010.
