Ferrovial, Copenhagen, Guangzhou, Zurich airports shares rise, Fraport, Aercap fall, Boeing steady

Grupo Ferrovial (+4.7%), Copenhagen Airports (+4.7%), Guangzhou Baiyun (+2.9%) and Zurich (+2.0%) airports were the best performers on the CAPA's airport index on 08-Jan-08. Fraport's volatility continued, slumping 9.9% after solid gains the previous day.

Of the aviation suppliers, lessor Aercap rose 7.1%. Earlier in the week, the company announced Calyon SA and other banks had agreed to guarantee its aircraft financing activities. Boeing was steady (+0.1%) after announcing its 2008 net orders shrank 53%.
