Dublin Airport Authority profits solid as Dublin transformation continues - ARI the ace up sleeve

Dublin Airport Authority (DAA), operator of Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports and parent of airport retail operator, Aer Rianta Internationall (ARI), reported a 17% increase in EBITDA in 2007 and a doubling in net profit. Profits for the year included EUR239 million in exceptional items, comprised principally of the profit on the disposal of the Group's 24% shareholding in Birmingham Airport (UK).
