Cathay Pacific reported a better than expected May-07, with

passenger numbers rising 1.8% to 1.8 million (including Dragonair). According

to the carrier, May is generally one of the “quieter months” for

passenger traffic, “so we were pleased to see the number of passengers

carried staying ahead of the rise in capacity”. Passenger load factor

edged up 0.1 ppts to 75.1%.
