CANSO calls for new integrated approach to ATM

Premium Analysis

CANSO's Secretary General, Alexander ter Kuile, is due to step down at the end of 2009, but that has not halted his calls for Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), and the wider aviation business community and national regulators, to embrace "fundamental change" as the only way to steer through the global recession. Mr ter Kuile has called for a "radically new integrated approach… with all industry sectors collaborating together strategically," to ensure that ANSPs can survive the current downturn.
