Austrian Airlines Group achieves leading placings in both punctuality and flight reliability in 2008
Austrian Airlines Group announced (10-Mar-09) it has achieved leading placings in both punctuality and flight reliability in 2008, compared to all Association of European Airlines (AEA) member airlines. Austrian Airlines is the most punctual long haul airline, with punctuality rate of 86.5%, while internationally, the Austrian Airlines Group is the second most punctual airline group, with a 84.4% punctuality rate. The airline also reported 99.2% of all flights operating as planned.
