Air Deccan to purchase another 30 A320s from Airbus

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Air Deccan and Airbus signed a USD1.5 billion purchase agreement for 30 A320 aircraft, scheduled for delivery from 2008. Earlier this year, Air Deccan ordered 32 A320s and 30 ATR72-500s.

Meanwhile, Air India invited bids for USD429 million in financing to fund the acquisition of 22 of 68 new Boeing aircraft, scheduled for delivery between 2006 and 2008.
