Air Arabia launches Alexandria-Amman service; African shares mixed

Air Arabia (-1.6%) launched (22-Jun-2010) four times weekly Alexandria-Amman service. The airline recently announced plans to launch its fourth hub in Amman and offers services to Khartoum, Kuwait and Amman from Alexandria.

In other Middle East news, Kuwait National Airways (-2%) and Royal Jordanian (-1.2%) fell while Jazeera Airways remained flat.

1time (-2.9%) and Kenya Airways (-1.6%) dropped, Comair remained steady and Lonrho (+4.2%) rose, while the Johannesburg Stock Exchange fell -0.4%.
