CAPA India Summit to re-connect the world to business opportunities in Indian aviation
The CAPA India Aviation Summit will be held at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai on 30-31 October 2012 with the theme of re-connecting the world to business and investment opportunities in Indian aviation.
Kapil Kaul, CEO South Asia, CAPA stated that, "The summit will highlight the fact that despite recent challenges the underlying fundamentals in the market remain strong and the long term prospects for India are amongst the most exciting in global aviation. India is expected to emerge as the 3rd largest aviation market in the world before 2020 which is why CAPA believes that it is essential that key stakeholders and thought leaders assemble to discuss how best the sector can prepare for its next wave of growth - sustainably and profitably. If positive change is to happen all stakeholders have to become more engaged, central government must take a more progressive approach, industry needs to become more united and play a stronger advocacy role, hotels and tourism operators have to get involved and state governments must take more responsibility. This is the direction that the summit is designed to encourage."
