easyJet to open Hamburg base in Mar-2014
easyJet announced (27-Nov-2013) it will open its Hamburg base in Mar-2014, with the launch of four seasonal and six year-round services - see Route Changes Table for more information:
- Hamburg-Athens: Seasonal twice weekly service to launch on 02-Apr-2014. According to OAG, the carrier will be the route's only operator;
- Hamburg-Catania: Seasonal twice weekly service to launch on 01-Apr-2014. According to OAG, Germanwings will also operate on the route;
- Hamburg-Copenhagen: Daily service to launch on 31-Mar-2014. According to OAG, SAS also operates on the route;
- Hamburg-Ibiza: Seasonal twice weekly service to launch on 24-Jun-2014. According to OAG, airberlin operates seasonally on the route;
- Hamburg-Milan Malpensa: Six times weekly service to launch on 31-Mar-2014. According to OAG, Germanwings also operates on the route;
- Hamburg-Naples: Three times weekly service to launch on 30-Mar-2014. According to OAG, Germanwings will also operate on the route;
- Hamburg-Nice: Three times weekly service to launch on 31-Mar-2014. According to OAG, Germanwings operates seasonally on the route;
- Hamburg-Palma de Mallorca: Five times weekly service to launch on 31-Mar-2014. According to OAG, airberlin, Condor and Germanwings also operate on the route;
- Hamburg-Split: Seasonal twice weekly service to launch on 24-Jun-2014. According to OAG, Germanwings operates seasonally on the route;
- Hamburg-Venice Marco Polo: Three times weekly service to launch on 01-Apr-2014. According to OAG, airberlin and Germanwings operate seasonally on the route.
