About
United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) is a majority state-owned Russian aerospace conglomerate based in Moscow. UAC was incorporated in 2006 by the Russian Government to consolidate private and publicly-owned aerospace designers, manufacturers, maintenance and other associated companies under one umbrella. With interests in both civil and military aerospace sectors, manufacturers of the UAC Group include; Sukhoi, Irkut, Tupolev, Yakolev, Ilyushin, Beriev, MiG and AeroComposit design bureaus. Component manufacturers include; KnAAPO, NAPO, VASO, Aviastar and TAVIA. Aircraft lessors include; Ilyushin Leasing and First Leasing Company. The Federal Agency for Management of State Property owns an 90.48% stake in the corporation, with the remaining equity owned by Vnesheconombank (5.53%) and private investors (3.99%).
