About

Aluu Airlines was a Greenlandic start-up to be based at Kangerlussuaq Airport. The carrier initially planned to launch operations in Jun-2015 but deferred the launch after delays in obtaining its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC). No revised launch date has been announced. Aluu planned to provide service from Kangerlussuaq to Copenhagen, Ilulissat and Nuuk. The start-up intended to utilise leased Airbus equipment on its Copenhagen service and was looking to operate ATRs on its domestic services. The company was owned by former Air Greenland pilot Pele Broberg.
