Air One
About
Air One was an Italian airline that operated from Palermo Punta Raisi Airport with a secondary base at Rome Fiumicino Airport. The carrier was incorporated as part of the Alitalia airline company in 2009. Air One operated services to destinations throughout Italy, the Mediterranean and North Africa targeted at the lower-cost and leisure segment. The carrier utilised a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. Air One's last service was on 30-Sep-2014, with Alitalia to operate the carrier’s routes using its own aircraft. Alitalia reportedly plans to transfer ownership of Air One to a holding company established to handle the company’s debts, with a majority of the carrier’s aircraft to be put up for sale.
