Mutapa Investment Fund CEO John Mangudya said the Zimbabwe Government approved selling two Air Zimbabwe Boeing 777s, with proceeds earmarked as deposits for smaller domestic aircraft, while a leasing facility for a 777 to operate Harare-London made “good progress”1. Mr Mangudya added Air Zimbabwe could resume London operations by Jun-2026 and intended to use leasing to raise frequencies across domestic, regional and international routes1.
