ZeroAvia secured UK Civil Aviation Authority design organisation approval for its hydrogen-electric engine programme, positioning it to pursue type certification for the 600kW ZA600 powertrain for Part 23 aircraft.1 It also expanded liquid hydrogen work in the US after Stockton Metropolitan Airport approved a lease for an R&D facility focused on liquid hydrogen, funded by the California Energy Commission.2
