Xiamen Airlines revenue up 18%, reports USD130m profit in 1H2012

Xiamen Airlines reported the following financial highlights for six months ended 30-Jun-2012, according to a CAAC-News report:

  • Operating revenue: CNY7840 million (USD1244 million), +17.7% year-on-year;
  • Profit: CNY820 million (USD130.1 million);
  • Passenger numbers: 8.1 million, +11%;
  • Cargo volume: 83,000 tonnes, +4.2%;
  • Flights: 75,100, +7.8%;
  • Safe flight hours: 142,100 hours, +16.3%.
