Wizz Air does not see need to remove capacity

Wizz Air CEO József Váradi, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit - Airlines in Transition, stated (23-Apr-2026) "I'm not taking capacity out because I think the other guys will take capacity out. Actually, that will create an opportunity". Mr Váradi said other carriers have higher costs and as a result are more under pressure to remove capacity.
