Wizz Air opened its base in Bratislava in mid Nov-2025 and operated 29 routes from Bratislava in 2026, with plans to expand its Bratislava fleet to four A321neos by spring 2026. The carrier planned new services to destinations including Basel, Nis, Naples and Palermo from 16-Dec-2025, and Mykonos was set to become its 30th route from Bratislava in summer 20261 2.
