Widerøe previously signed to incorporate De Havilland Aircraft of Canada’s ESP+ on 10 Dash 8-100s, while also booking options for a further 10 aircraft, with the programme extending life to 160,000 cycles after earlier ESP work lifted limits to 120,000 cycles.1 Widerøe also planned cockpit modernisation for its Dash 8-100/200 fleet using Universal Avionics’ InSight and Connected Avionics as part of DHC’s upgraded avionics suite.2
