WFS to operate South Africa's Dube Tradeport Cargo Terminal, Durban

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) announced (28-Aug-09) it has concluded a minimum five-year exclusive contract to operate the new Dube Tradeport Cargo Terminal at South Africa's Durban New International Airport. The new airport, located 30 km north of Durban is on schedule for its official opening in May-2010. The 15,800 sqm cargo terminal is expected to handle tens of thousands of tonnes of air cargo and express shipments in its first year of operation and has the long-term capacity to process up to 2 million tonnes p/a.
